We only need three reasons to be truly happy: something to do, someone to love, and something to hope for. May you have all these reasons.
Name the five wealthiest people, seven Oscar winners, ten American presidents.
Hard? The point is, none of us remembers the headliners of yesterday, simply because the applause dies and awards are forgotten.
Here’s another quiz:
Name three teachers who taught you well, three friends who stood by you, five people who made you feel special.
Easier? Because those who made a difference in your life are not those with the most money, credentials or awards. They’re the ones who truly care.
Living on Earth is expensive, but it does include a free trip around the sun each year.
Enjoy life! The best things are free.
Think of the most beautiful place you know on earth.
Think of the most wonderful day you have ever had.
Think of the person who loves you more than anybody else loves you.
And then…
Multiply that by a million…
And maybe that’s the tiniest hint of what heaven will be like.
“No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love Him.”
(1 Corinthians 2:9)
It is better to cry than to be angry, because anger hurts others, while tears flow silently through the soul and cleanses the heart.
- Pope John Paul II
Start the day with a deep breath.
Inhale all the love and goodness of God.
Exhale all the tears, fears and all worries.
Then…
SMILE.
Good morning!
Life is all about…
Waking up each day to discover something new
Meeting old people but making new conversations
Walking through old roads but still feeling nice about it
Realizing that we have grown a day older but still feeling young at heart
Meeting busy schedules but still finding time for old friends
Being nostalgic about gone days but looking forward to better days
Have a blessed and a much better day each day!
May God bless you with…
Quiet moments when you’re feeling overwhelmed
Peaceful feelings when you’re rushing through a day
Simple wisdom when you’re facing difficult choices
Restful hours when your days are long
The soothing comfort of those who care
And God’s protection all the time.
The happiest people are those who have a difficult time recalling their worries and an easy time remembering their blessings. Keep smiling!
Forget about all the reasons why something may not work. You only need to find one good reason why it will.
A child on a farm sees a plane fly by overhead and dreams of going to faraway places.
The traveller on the same plane sees the farm house below and dreams of home.
That’s life.
You will never realize the value of a thing unless it moves away from you.
Start enjoying what you have today!
I woke up with a happy heart, thankful for a night of rest and comfort, grateful for opening my eyes to yet another day of God’s love and provision. And so, with a prayer in my lips and in my heart, I hope this day finds you and your family well, ever grateful as I am.
A speaker started off his speech by holding up a $100 bill. He asked, “Who wants this $100?”
Hands started going up.
He crumpled the bill, dropped it to the floor,a nd ground it with his shoe. He picked it up, crumpled and dirty, and asked, “Now who still wants this?”
Everyone still raised hands.
“My friends,” he said, “let this be a lesson. Others may trample upon you, but they can never dimish your true value as long as you are whole.”
